#RHoA: Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kim Zolciak-Biermann ‘Kenya Won’t Get Under my Skin Anymore’
She says You Won't See Kenya Moore Get Under Her Skin Anymore This Season

The most explosive moment in season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (so far) came courtesy of enemies Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kenya Moore when they came face-to-face at NeNe Leakes' elaborately titled white party.
As Kim insinuated that Kenya's husband didn't actually exist and Kenya retaliated by accusing her foe of leveraging her daughter Brielle in an icky way for John Legend tickets, the pair had to be physically separated, with Kim eventually leaving the party she wasn't actually invited to in the first place. (Sheree Whitfield brought her as a surprise plus-one!) And while there's certainly been no love lost between the two on social media, Kim wants fans to know that that'll be the one and only time you'll see her lose her cool thanks to Kenya this season.

"I hate watching the drama unfold with Kenya, just allowing somebody to push by buttons," she told E! News when asked about having to watch that intense moment back months later. "I have not watched Housewives, I have not watched every episode since I left, so I didn't know that Kenya was the type—I didn't even know Kenya. I didn't know she was the type to just push people and push people until they just lose it until Porsha [Williams] explained to me what she's been through with her. So I didn't feel as bad that somebody was able to trigger me and get me that pissed off. But that's behind me. You'll see through the season that that doesn't happen again. No matter what I have to do when she's around me, I do many things to just not even deal with her."

After leaving the series midway through season five, Kim returned for a guest appearance late in season nine, where she sparred with—who else?—Kenya at Sheree's housewarming party. She's back this season only in a Friend of the Housewives capacity, making her appearances thus far few and far between. But could the Bravolebrity, who has a successful spinoff of her own on the network, ever envision a full-time return to the show that made her a star?

"I'm very motivated by money and I love, like I've said, I've had a really great time hanging out with Sheree and doing these kind of events and going places and getting out of the house. So the bigger the check, the more time I spend, yeah," the Don't Be Tardy star told us. "The more, the merrier. This is all a short-lived roller coaster ride, you know? So I definitely want to get in as much money as I can."

In other words: Get the woman's peach ready!

Don't Be Tardy wraps up season six on Friday, Dec. 15, while The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues Sundays at 8 p.m., on Bravo.

#MUSICNEWS: The Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music Renew Longstanding Music Agreement
The Estate of late Michael Jackson and Sony Music have agreed to a new deal which will extend the landmark 42-year relationship with the King of Pop’s music.
Effective January 1, 2018, Sony Music will extend the term of their administration of MJ’s catalog in a long-term recording agreement.  Sony will also have the opportunity to partner on additional projects that the Estate may produce during the term of the contract.

Rob Stringer, Chief Executive Officer, Sony Music Entertainment comments, “Michael Jackson was an unsurpassed genius and an iconic force in music entertainment. The music—and videos—he made as an artist as part of the Sony Music family are essential to pop culture history. We’re proud to be part of that history, and to find new innovative ways to make Michael’s music available to future generations of fans.”

John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of MJ’s Estate, added, “We couldn’t ask for more creative and innovative partners than Sony and Rob Stringer (whose history working personally with Michael goes back to the 1990s).  Michael continues to inspire generations of artists who have come after him and attract new fans who understand that his music and message are more important than ever.  We look forward to continuing to preserve and develop his remarkable musical legacy with Sony.”

To date, Michael Jackson has achieved 40 RIAA certifications and 40 #1 chart positions and 102 Top 5 chart positions. Jackson’s overall worldwide record sales exceed the 1 billion threshold, including over 100 million sales of “Thriller” which remains the biggest selling album in history.
The last seven years of the creative partnership between Sony and the Estate have been characterized by the same kind of record-setting achievements that Michael realized during his lifetime.  His recordings continue to meet new sales benchmarks:  Last year, Thriller became the first and only album in RIAA history to pass the triple Diamond mark with a 33X platinum certification; Bad also achieved Diamond status.

Jackson’s latest release, the compilation album, Scream was his 16th Billboard Top 40 Album and 30th charting album and its release kicked off the worldwide.  His previous release, 2014’s Xscape rocketed to #1 in 49 countries and produced the worldwide hit, “Love Never Felt So Good.”
Sony and the Estate have also partnered in the production of two critically acclaimed documentaries directed by Spike Lee:  Bad 25 and Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off the Wall.

Other innovations created in conjunction with Sony include the first completely crowd-sourced music video for “Behind the Mask” (2010), the first Twitter music video premiere for “A Place With No Name” (2014) and a groundbreaking augmented reality campaign for Scream (2017).

#NEWHIPHOP: Stream Eminem’s Album ‘Revival’
Guess who’s back? Breaking a 4-year dry spell since The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem returns with Revival, the eighth album in his storied discography.
This time around, Marshall Mathers is joined by some familiar faces, including Beyoncé (“Walk On Water”), Ed Sheeran (“River”), Alicia Keys (“Like Home”), X Ambassadors (“Bad Husband”), Skylar Grey (“Tragic Endings”), Kehlani (“Nowhere Fast”), Pink (“Need Me”), and PHresher (“Chloraseptic”).

The 19-song set has been more than a year-in-the-making for Slim Shady. “You know how it is,” he recently told Elton John. “You make songs, and as you make the new ones, the old ones get old and you throw them out. The album is called Revival. It’s a reflection of where I’m at right now, but also I feel like what I tried to do was diversify. I’ve tried to make a little something for everyone.”

#FEMALEBEEF: Omarosa: Robin Roberts Declared “Black Woman Civil War”!
Soon-to-be-former White House staffer Omarasa Managault-Newman says ABC News’ Robin Roberts has declared “a black woman civil war” on her. And, being Omarosa, she did so via text message – to Inside Edition.

It all started when ABC News’ Good Morning America snagged the first interview with the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison on Thursday morning. The White House announced Wednesday she will be leaving January 20, after resigning to “pursue other opportunities.”

CNN contributor April Ryan had reported Wednesday afternoon that Omarosa – the former reigning villainess of The Apprentice franchise on which now-POTUS Donald Trump starred – had not left under her own steam, literally. Ryan reported on the cable news network that security escorted Omarosa from the building after she tried to enter the White House residence without authorization, to appeal to Trump. This after being told by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly that her services no longer were required, Ryan reported.
But Omarosa refuted that report to GMA‘s Michael Strahan on Wednesday, saying she and Kelly sat down in the Situation Room for a candid conversation in which she expressed her desire to stay with the White House until the one-year mark, in January, and then leave to get on with her life.

She blasted Ryan’s report she tried to access the White House Residence, saying it would be “ridiculous” to try to do so “in the most secure building in the world.”
“When I have the chance to tell my story, Michael, it will be quite a story to tell,” she told Strahan. “As the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the President, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people.

“And when I can tell my story it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear,” Omarosa promised modestly.
“She said she has a story to tell, and I’m sure she will be selling that story,” Roberts quipped to GMA colleague George Stephanopoulos.

“We’ll see,” Stephanopoulos responded, noncommittally. “Yeah, she will,” Roberts answered back. Then, looking into the camera, added, “Bye, Felicia,” quoting Ice Cube popular line from the 1995 film Friday.
Omarosa rose to the bait, texting Inside Edition that Robert’s “petty” crack launched “a black woman civil war.”

This from the woman who declared, on PBS’ Frontline, “Every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump.”
If it’s war, Roberts has a lot of troops. Over at The View, for instance, Sunny Hostin called Omarosa a “pariah” in the community.

“She’s always sort of been a villain, and I think her job as director of outreach in the African-American community was almost a slap in the face to the African-American community,” she explained.

Added Whoopi Goldberg, on Omarosa, “She’s just been so nasty to so many women, and so many women of color. So many women of color. And I just, you know, never mind.”

LOL!!!

#PROTECTTHEINTERNET: F.C.C. Repeals Net Neutrality Rules
The Federal Communications Commission voted on Thursday to dismantle landmark rules regulating the businesses that connect consumers to the internet, granting broadband companies power to potentially reshape Americans’ online experiences.

The agency scrapped so-called net neutrality regulations that prohibited broadband providers from blocking websites or charging for higher-quality service or certain content. The federal government will also no longer regulate high-speed internet delivery as if it were a utility, like phone services.
The action reversed the agency’s 2015 decision, during the Obama administration, to better protect Americans as they have migrated to the internet for most communications.

What’s The Tea? Tamar Braxton Turned Away From Dallas Area Gay Bar?
*It looks like “The Real” is not the only entity that doesn’t want Tamar Braxton on its premises. Add a Dallas area bar and restaurant to the list.
Tamar herself revealed what went down earlier this week via her Instagram story. She told her followers she was barred from entering JR’s Bar & Grill because of her appearance.

“Evidently I look like a gangster. I can’t go in this establishment,” she said.
“Here in my favorite town Dallas, they have zero tolerance for black people.”

courtesy of Meet Magazine
Meanwhile, JR’s addressed what happened in a statement, released to NBC 5/Dallas. Their position is that they have strict entrance policy which applies to anyone and everyone hoping to drink and dine there.
“Our posted policies regarding entrance into JR’s Bar & Grill are to both ensure the safety of all our customers and to certify that our staff are in accordance with the law when serving alcohol – without exception,” the statement read.

“In this instance, we were simply following our published procedures. It would have been a beautiful experience and honor to add Tamar Braxton to the long list of celebrities who have enjoyed JR.s as a safe and inclusive entertainment venue. We are deeply saddened that she didn’t experience the love that awaited her inside.”
Charles Roy is one of many who frequents the popular gay bar and is well aware of the dress code, which says, “no sweat towels, no backpacks, pants are to be worn around the waist, no sunglasses worn inside, give respect, get respect” and “zero tolerance policy.”
“I know they have signs up that say zero tolerance, but I think that’s for drug peddling and some other things that have gone on here in the past,” Roy told Fox 4. “I don’t think that’s being racist.”
“Are there certain areas of Dallas that are discriminatory? Maybe,” said another patron, Louis Dofrman. “But I don’t think this is one of them. I mean, this is the ‘gayborhood’ for God’s sake!”

Hundreds of comments on JR’s Facebook page, mostly from Braxton fans, take a different tone.
“Even in the gay community, people are a racist,” one person commented. “Smh I will never support y’all ever again.”
“How could you be so naive and oblivious?,” another commenter said. “Black people have supported JR’s but not any longer. The incident is disgraceful, tasteless, and racist.”

However Dallas LGBTQ community activist James Vincent to me had the perfect response. He said.

‘Hey Jrs Bar And Grill maybe you should've had my buddy John Anderson craft your response to the Tamar Braxton-Herbert situation. Actually, this should've been your response weeks, months, YEARS before the Tamar incident as she isn't the first case of alleged discrimination. It's the worst kept secret in Dallas that yours and other establishments on the strip either willingly engage in these behaviors or enable them by turning a tone deaf blind eye to them. You have an opportunity to change the course of race relations in this community. Be a pioneer. Heed the warnings from the community. Be better. Let's build.’
As of this posting, Tamar had not responded to the statement from the restaurant. Braxton was in the Big D for a performance at the Verizon Theatre.

Remember the LGBTQ Community don’t want to be discriminated against but in some cases are discriminating against one another. And now what about about that Cake baker in Colorado??????? SAD!

NYPD Launches Investigation into Russell Simmons
Russell Simmons is now the target of an NYPD investigation after several women have accused the Def Jam founder of sexual assault.
The special victim’s unit of the NYPD is investigating the sexual misconduct claims of at least seven women, according to the L.A. Times., and that detectives are in the initial stages of reaching out to the alleged victims.

Simmons stepped down from his businesses last month after screenwriter Jenny Lumet accused him of sexual assault.  He has also been accused of rape by former model, Keri Claussen.
The mogul has denied any he committed sexual assault and claims all the other incidents were consensual.  He also posted “#NOTME” this morning in response to the accusations, and vows to defend himself and “hold accusers accountable.”

Debra Lee Replaced As President At BET, Staying On As Chairman
BET has named Scott M. Mills as the new president of the Viacom-owned network. The current president, Debra L. Lee, will stay on at BET as chairman and CEO, according to reports.
Mills will take over the day-to-day responsibilities at BET, with Lee focusing on relationships with external stakeholders and communities. Michael Armstrong will continue in his position as general manager and will report to Mills. Bob Bakish, president and CEO of Viacom, said in a statement,

In her two decades at the helm of BET Networks, Debi has built BET into a truly global entertainment powerhouse, bringing this dominant African American brand to more than 60 countries and 125 million households. Her vision and leadership, unmatched intuition for what audiences want, and ability to attract and foster top talent– both behind and in front of the camera – have been pivotal to this success. We’re grateful that we will continue to benefit from Debi’s experience and insights. Scott is a proven leader who has made exceptional contributions to Viacom and BET for more than 20 years. His strong relationships across the industry – which were instrumental in securing our recent cross-house deal with Tyler Perry – as well as his track record of success initiating innovative creative ventures, including BET Experience, make him the right person for this role, as we continue to extend this brand across platforms and markets around the world.

Okay (1) Decent pun there. Totes ma goats. Well played. (2) Now is as good as time as any to vent my frustration for the sudden overuse of the acronym GOAT or Greatest of All Time. You want to put it on Brady, whatever go for it. But since the Super Bowl I feel like every sports team is tossing GOAT around to anyone and everyone. You get 1 per sport, league-wide. That’s it. Disney Buys Much of Murdoch Empire for 52 Billion!
Rupert Murdoch is selling off TV and entertainment assets at 21st Century Fox as he faces deep-pocketed competitors and tensions between his sons.
Adrian Sanchez-Gonzalez/AFP/Getty Images
Ultimately, it was the Mouse that roared — and Fox that beat a retreat from the global stage.

The Walt Disney Co. has struck a deal valued at $52 billion to acquire much of the Hollywood holdings of 21st Century Fox, the global television and entertainment conglomerate controlled by Rupert Murdoch and his family. The deal occurs against a backdrop of swift changes to the industry's finances and uncertainty about succession plans at both companies.

The sale represents a stunning turn of events for Murdoch, a reversal of decades of alternately calculated and impulsive expansion of a sprawling media empire that started with a single afternoon paper in a forgotten city on the southern coast of his native Australia.

The most profitable and controversial part of the Fox empire — Fox News —would not be part of the deal. Yet the family is selling off other defining properties, including the movie studio 20th Century Fox. The deal is expected to face regulatory scrutiny, as it would greatly concentrate similar holdings in Disney.

The following story is based on interviews with outside industry analysts and current and former executives for the Murdochs and for Disney.

From Disney's standpoint, the acquisition offers a chance to consolidate holdings and talented leaders in television and movie production, major cable properties, and a vast network of local sports cable channels to fold into Disney's ESPN programming. Disney has also long wanted greater international distribution channels, such as those afforded by Fox's properties and relationships abroad.

And it would give Disney a controlling stake in Hulu, the entertainment streaming service set up by the conventional networks to compete with Netflix and Amazon. In August, Disney announced plans to withdraw its content from Netflix and set up its own two on-demand streaming services. One centers on sports and ESPN; the other is likely to leverage entertainment programs. The Fox stable, including The Simpsons and the X-Men movie franchise, for example, could be folded into the mix.

On Fox's part, the Disney deal appears driven by fear, opportunity and pragmatism: fear of the seemingly bottomless wallets of Netflix, Amazon and possibly Apple to spend on new shows; opportunity to cash out assets at a possible peak; and pragmatism in finally resolving the professional fates of Murdoch's sons Lachlan and James as well the fortunes of four other Murdoch children who do not play a role in the company.

Lachlan Murdoch is 21st Century Fox's co-chairman and his younger brother James Murdoch is its CEO. Both have spoken over the course of this past year of the need for what they call "scale" in the entertainment industry: the size needed to keep flourishing. Both asserted that Fox had it.

But, much like Jeff Bewkes at Time Warner, who is seeking regulatory approval to sell off his entire company to AT&T, the Murdochs reached the remarkable conclusion that a publicly traded company with a market capitalization of roughly $60 billion just wasn't big enough.

Earlier this month, at a conference for investment analysts staged by UBS, James Murdoch declined to address intensifying questions about the Disney-Fox deal taking shape. Yet he spoke of the desire to create maximum value for shareholders, notably sidestepping the idea that Fox had sufficient heft to fend off adversaries.

As one sign of the Murdochs' ongoing ambitions, 21st Century Fox is even now arguing before British regulators on behalf of its $15 billion bid to take full control of Sky, a major European satellite company based in the U.K. Rupert Murdoch founded Sky's predecessor company a generation ago, and Fox already owns about 39 percent of Sky.

The Murdochs have not concealed their desire to bring the European broadcaster back into the fold, and have sought to do so for more than seven years — a process that was interrupted by a phone hacking and corruption scandal at Murdoch's British newspapers. The scandal led the Murdochs to split their empire into two halves. News Corp. is the newspaper and publishing wing.

The latest effort to acquire full control of Sky has similarly been delayed by a series of controversies and scandals. They include Murdoch's sympathy for the Brexit movement and open support for the Trump presidency, the ongoing sexual harassment and governance scandals at Fox News, and public outrage over that network's coverage of the death of Seth Rich that gave broader circulation to conspiracy theories. The British government has repeatedly ordered more reviews.

Disney would take over 21st Century Fox's stake in Sky — and its full ownership if British regulators were to allow the takeover to go through with a different parent company. Yet Rich Greenfield, a leading media analyst for BTIG Research who is bullish on Netflix and other upstarts in TV, argues that the Fox deal shows Disney once more making a major play in platforms likely to be in decline. Streaming ultimately will threaten satellite television in Europe as much as it does the cable business in the U.S., he tells NPR.

Rupert Murdoch has personally led Fox News since the ouster of its founding chairman, Roger Ailes, for sexual harassment in July 2016. The perch has given Murdoch constant access to President Trump, an Oval Office rapport that the media magnate has long sought.

Fox News is the greatest single economic engine within 21st Century Fox. Yet its brand would be too toxic for many other major American corporations that could afford to buy it, according to a former longtime Murdoch executive. Claire Enders, a pre-eminent media industry analyst based in London, argues in an interview with NPR that the presence of Fox News complicates everything Murdoch does in the U.K. — even though Sky dropped Fox News earlier this year from its offerings in hopes of removing that sticking point.

Disney and Fox have overlapping properties that could stir antitrust regulators, so there is no intent to sell the Fox broadcast network, or Fox's 28 local stations, to Disney, which owns ABC and eight local stations of its own. Yet, as planned, the acquisition would include Fox's other networks, such as cable channel FX and the National Geographic television and media holdings, as well as Sky in Europe, and Star in India and in China. Disney would undoubtedly have to shed some assets in order to smooth the path for the deal.

Disney would be consolidating properties in television and movie production houses. ABC has struggled to mint hits; Fox studios created top shows for ABC and NBC — Modern Family and This is Us, respectively — and it has won critical and popular acclaim for programs on FX. Some of Fox's superhero figures might be integrated into Disney theme parks — though it's hard to imagine characters from Alien or Predator joining Mickey Mouse and Frozen's Elsa at Disneyland.

Given the Justice Department's legal challenge to the purchase of Time Warner by AT&T, which would bring together far fewer currently competing entities, it is hard to imagine federal antitrust officials would give the Disney-Fox transaction an easy pass. But Time Warner includes CNN, long a Trump rhetorical target, and Murdoch is a trusted adviser to the president on media issues.

The question of succession looms over both companies. At Disney, it is a simpler matter of corporate transition. CEO Robert Iger has already extended his term past its expected date and has weighed entering politics in California or on a national level. If the Fox deal goes through, according to The Wall Street Journal (also a Murdoch property), Iger will stay on through 2021.

#RHoA: Do you wanna see the hairstyle Cynthia Bailey uses when she wants to win an Argument?
Cynthia Bailey is the first one to admit it: Her hair — that gorgeous head of hair — is an inspiration to us all. The Real Housewives of Atlanta model constantly keeps things fresh by switching up her style. And if you asked us to name the look we like best, we'd need about a week to get back to you on that.

But, there is one hairstyle Cynthia herself is partial to — especially when she needs to feel powerful. When chatting with The Lookbook, the Alabama-born stunner said: "Hair can change your mood. So when I wake up ... if I decide to put my afro on, that’s a whole other situation. I know if I put my ‘fro on, it’s going to be one of those days where I’m not taking any crap from anyone." So, that's how Cynthia stays so fierce.

The stunner continued: "[When I wear an afro it's] like, ‘I’m the queen, I get to just do what I want to do, and everyone just has to let me live my life.' I just think when I put my ‘fro on, I’m powerful. Whenever I film with my afro on, nobody really comes for me because they’re like ‘oh boy, she’s got the afro on today. And that means you just can’t win with her.’ You just cannot out-argue a person with an afro on. You just can’t do it. You just won’t win."

Cynthia makes a fair point. We proably would skip dishing out sass to a woman who looks like this:
But, you may have noticed that Cynthia's been rocking a lot of blonde in Season 10 of The Real Houswewives of Atlanta. What does this sunny hue signify?

"I think the blonde to me represented where I’m at in my life," Cynthia told The Lookbook. "I just want to have fun! Blondes have run right? That’s what they say? If I want to have fun, I put my blonde wig on. If I want to be strong, I put my afro on."

#HIPHOPNEWS #FREEMEEKMILL: Pennsylvania Superior Court Denies Meek Mill’s Bail Motion!
The imprisoned rapper's appeal to the higher court is still underway.

The legal team of Meek Mill has been working feverishly to achieve freedom for their client, this after developments surrounding the judge in question who handed out what many felt was an unfairly harsh sentence. On Tuesday, the Pennslyvania Superior Court denied a bail motion although Meek’s case is still under consideration for appeal at a higher court.

Philly.com reports:The one-sentence ruling dated Tuesday came with no explanation for the denial of Mill’s request to be freed pending the outcome of the appeal of his prison sentence.
Lawyers for the rapper born Robert Williams had filed the appeal last week, asking that he be released on bail while he appeals the two- to four-year prison sentence for probation violations handed down last month by Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley.

Mill’s lawyers had disputed every reason Brinkley cited for sending him to prison.
The rapper is not a flight risk, given that he’s a lifelong member of the Philadelphia community and is supported by the likes of fellow rapper Jay-Z and Michael Rubin, co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, the lawyers wrote. Mill has no history of bail violations or attempted escapes and he’s too famous to flee, they argued.

The lawyers in the case declined to comment further about the case after the latest ruling.

#UGH! Keaton Jones’ Father Is A White Supremacist, In Jail
Bullying victim Keaton Jones' family continues to be embarrassingly racist.

No one wants Keaton Jones to keep getting bullied. However, the jig is up for his parents—now his father has been revealed to be a currently incarcerated white supremacist.
Jones’ momma has been catching slander since she thinks proudly waving a Confederate flag is funny instead of, ya know, highly racist.

Now it turns out her baby daddy (maybe husband…common law?) is in the bing and also believes white is right.
Reports TMZ:“The father’s name is Shawn White and his Facebook features multiple memes with sayings like, “HOLY F*** I LOVE BEING WHITE,” “Keep Calm and be White Pride,”  and “Aryan Pride.”
The memes we found were all posted in 2014. There was also a selfie profile pic that shows Shawn shirtless with “PURE BREED” tatted on his chest … and “WHITE PRIDE” on his stomach.

He also has neck ink that reads, “CWB” — a common abbreviation for a gang called Crazy White Boy.”
Reportedly, White has been in jail since May 2015 and is due to get out next year. He’s in the clink for an aggravated assault conviction.

By the looks of it, White is allegedly a deadbeat dad and dam sure doesn’t appear to be the best role model for his kids.

Unless the goal is to create more neo-nazis, then he’s goals.

Black People, Particularly Black Women, Elected Doug Jones Over Roy Moore In Alabama
Doug Jones defeated Roy Moore in Tuesday night's special election, thanks to Black people.

Once again, Black people saved the day. Doug Jones defeated alleged teen lover Roy Moore in Tuesday night’s special election for a Senate seat in Alabama, and it was thanks to the Black vote—particularly Black women, yeah, we said it.

The Washington Post put up this exit poll summary, and the facts were all laid out.

Doug Jones has won Alabama. Preliminary exit polls from @PostPolls point to black voters as the force behind the upset victory
While white women continued to vote again their best interests (serious, Roy Moore is an alleged pedophile, and you still voted for him?), Black people came out in droves and swung the vote.
Black women held it down with 98% voting for Jones while Black men weren’t too far behind at 93%. We’ll chalk up those who didn’t vote for Jones as Sunken Place victims because…seriously.
Democratic Establishment, are you paying attention?

SAG Awards Nominations: ‘Three Billboards’ Tops Film List, Netflix Leads In TV
Three Billboards was joined on the Ensemble list by Amazon/Lionsgate’s The Big Sick, a notable no-show at the Golden Globes noms on Monday; Jordan Peele’s Get Out from Universal; A24’s Lady Bird; and Netflix’s Mudbound. The Martin McDonagh film scored acting noms for stars Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell, giving Fox Searchlight a studio-topping seven noms thanks to its other pics The Shape of Water and Battle of the Sexes.

Lady Bird was the only other pic to receive more than two noms today as the guild spread the wealth on the film side. Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf picked up noms in the leading and supporting categories. Among the notable noms: James Franco for playing Tommy Wiseau in The Disaster Artist, a fairly rare comedy slot in the Leading Male Actor category. In TV, Netflix swept to a leading 19 nominations and dominated the lead female acting categories, with shows on the streaming service scoring eight of the 10 overall noms in the category. Last year’s winner Stranger Things returns to the Ensemble Drama Series category (remember David Harbour’s fantastic acceptance speech? — he’s nommed again this year) along with The Crown for Netflix, HBO’s Game of Thrones, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and NBC’s This Is Us.

Stranger Things also scored a co-leading four noms, tied with HBO’s Big Little Lies which continues its sweep through awards season — it scored three acting noms today for Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon all in the TV Movie or Limited Series category, joining Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon from FX’s Feud: Bette and Joan.

Among the newcomers making noise today: Netflix’s GLOW (Comedy Ensemble, noms for Alison Brie and Marc Maron, and a Stunt Ensemble nom). It joins two other rookies on the Ensemble lists along with NBC’s This Is Us and Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale both on the drama side.

Regina Hall to Co-Star in ‘Shaft’ Sequel With Samuel L. Jackson.
Regina Hall has joined the cast of New Line’s latest installment in the “Shaft” franchise opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Jessie T. Usher, sources tell Variety.
Hall will play a former love interest of John Shaft and the younger Shaft’s mother. Alexandra Shipp and the original Shaft, Richard Roundtree, are also on board.

Tim Story is directing from a script by Kenya Barris and Alex Barnow. Barris and John Davis are producing. Marc Fischer and Ira Napoliello are exec producing.

The movie follows Usher, a nerdy FBI agent who, after his friend dies under suspicious circumstances, launches his own investigation, reluctantly enlisting help from his estranged father — the legendary, stuck-in-the-’80s-but-still-cool John Shaft.

Salma Hayek Says Harvey Weinstein Was Her ‘Monster’ Too, Claims He Threatened To Kill Her
Salma Hayek is speaking out about in a New York Times op-ed where she reveals Harvey Weinstein was her “monster” too.
The 51-year-old actress detailed her rise to fame and how Harvey took a chance on her to help her become a star.

She went on to detail how his help eventually turned harassment and how he felt entitled to her.

I was so excited to work with him and that company. In my naïveté, I thought my dream had come true. He had validated the last 14 years of my life. He had taken a chance on me — a nobody. He had said yes.

Little did I know it would become my turn to say no.
No to opening the door to him at all hours of the night, hotel after hotel, location after location, where he would show up unexpectedly, including one location where I was doing a movie he wasn’t even involved with.

No to me taking a shower with him.
No to letting him watch me take a shower.
No to letting him give me a massage.
No to letting a naked friend of his give me a massage.
No to letting him give me oral sex.
No to my getting naked with another woman.
No, no, no, no, no…

Salma Hayek went on to discuss Harvey Weinstein’s temper and how he would lose it when you told him “no.”
I don’t think he hated anything more than the word “no.” The absurdity of his demands went from getting a furious call in the middle of the night asking me to fire my agent for a fight he was having with him about a different movie with a different client to physically dragging me out of the opening gala of the Venice Film Festival, which was in honor of “Frida,” so I could hang out at his private party with him and some women I thought were models but I was told later were high-priced prostitutes.
The range of his persuasion tactics went from sweet-talking me to that one time when, in an attack of fury, he said the terrifying words, “I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.”

Where are the charges?!
