Ne-Yo And his Wife Crystal Renay CELEBRATES Black Love with Rolling Out Mag!
Crystal Renay and singer Ne Yo rep their black love in an interview with Rolling Out magazine.
“I’m so glad I took a chance on him. I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been,” Renay says, glancing over at her husband as he plays with their 1-year-old son, Shaffer Jr. Taking a chance on Ne-Yo may be a risk that most women would be willing to take. He is undoubtedly an international success with a reputation for being the ultimate gentleman, so much so that many of his fans were skeptical when he announced his proposal to model Renay.

“I knew pretty quickly after I met her that I wanted to marry her. It wasn’t immediate but it didn’t take me long,” Ne-Yo admits. Still, he is clear about the fact that it wasn’t just Renay that made him want to get married; it was more about where he was in life. He adds, “A man has to be ready for marriage. Until he’s ready it doesn’t matter who comes into his life.”
It’s apparent that Ne-Yo was ready for a next level relationship when he saw pictures of Renay and decided to try his luck.

“He reached out to my management about wanting to have me play a part in a movie,” Renay recalls, “but he requested that I meet him by myself. So we go to dinner and he’s telling me about this project … but then it turned into more of a date. He asked to see me again and I accepted. To this day, I don’t know if there really was a movie or not.” Read more HERE

BREAKING: Democrat Doug Jones WINS US Senate seat in Alabama over Roy Moore!
Democrat Doug Jones on Dec. 12 said he was “overwhelmed” after defeating
Doug Jones has won the special election to fill a Senate seat in Alabama, according to exit polls and returns — a shocking upset in a solidly Republican state, in which massive turnout among African American voters helped defeat a candidate enthusiastically backed by President Trump.

The Associated Press called the race at 10:23 p.m. Eastern time. With about 98 percent of precincts reporting, Jones was leading by about 10,000 votes, with 49.5 percent of the vote as compared to Republican Roy Moore’s 48.8 percent.

It appeared that write-in candidates played a key role in the race: combined, they got 22,000 votes, more than the gap between the winner and the loser. Richard C. Shelby (R), Alabama’s other senator, had appeared to encourage the state’s Republicans to choose that option: Shelby said he wrote the name of an undisclosed “distinguished Republican” rather than vote for Moore.
Just after 11 p.m. Eastern time, Trump congratulated Jones in a Twitter message, saying “The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time.”

Though the president seemed to have admitted defeat, Moore still has not conceded the race.
Jones becomes the first Democrat elected to the Senate from Alabama since 1992. The Senate seat came open when Trump chose Jeff Sessions to become attorney general earlier this year.
Jones’s victory followed a pattern set earlier this year in Virginia’s gubernatorial election: a wave of enthusiasm among the Democratic Party’s traditional base, which was aided by a swing from Republicans to Democrats among well-educated suburban voters.
In all, 10 of Alabama’s 67 counties flipped from red to blue: they had supported Trump in 2016, but not voted for Jones. Among them: vote-rich Madison County, home to Huntsville — a highly educated city with huge defense and aerospace industries.

Jones, 63, is a former U.S. attorney best known for prosecuting two Ku Klux Klan members for the 1963 bombing of a Birmingham Baptist church, which killed four girls. The bombers were not tried until the 1990s.

#RHoA: Phaedra Parks ‘I Have No Desire To Return To 'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta'
'It Made Me Sick Sometimes'

Phaedra Parks may be gone from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but she doesn’t appear to miss the drama-filled reality show.
“I have no desire to,” she told TMZ when asked if she’d ever return to the show. “I mean, I’ve turned the page. I love being happy. I love living drama-free. My kids are happy and I am able to enjoy life.”
She added that the toxic nature of the show affected her health: “It made me sick sometimes," she said. “You know, it’s a lot to deal with.”

Parks was fired from the Bravo franchise earlier this year for spreading lies about castmate Kandi Burruss.
“She got caught in so many treacherous lies this season that even the producers (including Andy Cohen) have had enough,” claim sources. “She even brought ‘fake’ divorce papers to the reunion to prove a point. No one knows whether she’s telling the truth about anything anymore.”

But Parks seems happy with her new life: “Any woman who does reality should be congratulated and praised because honey, it’s a lot to it and people don’t really understand it until they’ve tried it.”

#EMPIRE: Did you see these Terrance Howards Memes? They’re Funny!
OH TERRANCE LOL!

What started out as a request for someone to “photoshop Terrence Howard as a Jedi” has turned into the latest viral meme. After Twitter user @ChuckDSays shared the photo he created, user @FlowsAndolini turned it into a meme riffing off of Howard’s character in “Hustle & Flow,” who says “mayne” just about every other second throughout the movie.

Since Dec. 7, folks have been having a little fun throwing Howard’s face and “mayne” onto different movies, show scenes and songs, including “Frozen,” “Saw,” and SZA’s “The Weekend.”
Howard himself even got in on the action. He added a few more “maynes” to the list in a video he shared on Saturday. WATCH HERE

“Look here mayne, y’all missed “Iron Mayne,” “Best Mayne,” “Dead Mayne Down.” That’s some bulls**t,” he said.

#HIPHOPNEWS: French Montana Accused Of Stealing Moroccan Producer’s Beat
French Montana is being accused of stealing a fellow Morrocan’s beat. A Manhattan federal lawsuit says the Bad Boy rapper swiped the beat for a song called “Lockjaw” without permission.

Reports Page Six:“Assil Youssef, a Moroccan music producer who works under the stage name Yo Asel, claimed he sent his work “Sleep85” to French Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, in late 2015.
Youssef said he sent the work because he thought of the fellow Moroccan native as a “role model of a successful artist from his own country.”
“French responded to the email four days later with a message that said ‘Send more,” according to the Manhattan federal copyright lawsuit.

Youssef, in turn, was “excited at the prospect that his hard work would start paying off at such an early stage of his career.”

French Montana and another artist, Dieuson Octave, known popularly as “Kodak Black,” released “Lockjaw” a few months later, in May 2016.
“(Youssef) was shocked to learn that the instrumental track he had sent to French Montana months earlier was modified slightly and used – without (his) consent – as the beat for Lockjaw,” the lawsuit states.”

Expect this one to get settled out of court.

New couple alert! Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are dating, According to to Us Weekly.

“Dakota and Chris are definitely dating,” t “They’ve gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It’s more than just a fling.”

The 50 Shades of Grey star, 28, and Coldplay frontman, 40, were spotted together at Nick Cave’s concert in Israel last month. The pair was also seen having dinner with the singer at Yam Sheva restaurant in Herzliya.
“They came in and they were really, really nice, like extremely nice. It was a surprise,” an eyewitness told Us about the duo. “They sat with Nick Cave too. I didn’t see them kiss or hold hands or anything like that. They ordered some starters and not a lot of food.”

This is not the first time Johnson and Martin have been seen together. The couple went on a date at Sushi Park in Los Angeles last month.

“Chris and Dakota walked in together and sat at a table for two tucked away in the corner,” an onlooker told Us. “They seemed very happy to see each other and immediately jumped into conversation. She was catching him up on work and the different projects she has coming up. She was telling him where she is going to be and asking him what he thought. They both seemed to really respect each other’s opinions. Chris was very charming and personable. His face lit up when he was talking to her. He hummed a little bit and asked her what she thought of a song. She clearly loves his music and was really into it. They were flirty and laughing the entire meal. He paid for dinner and held the door for her. They both thanked the chefs on the way out.”

More Celebrities Respond To Keaton Jones Bullying Video and Mom has a new Controversy!
Video of 11-year-old Keaton Jones of Knoxville, Tennessee, tearfully questioning his bullies went viral over the weekend and elicited a heavy response from celebrities, including those from the Hip Hop community.

From Cardi B to Chris Brown, many prominent artists came to Jones’ defense, offering solidarity via social media.
The child even gained a lifelong friend in West Coast O.G. Snoop Dogg.
“Say lil Man U gotta friend in me for life hit me on dm so we can chop it up love is the only way to beat hate,” Snoop wrote in the caption of his repost of Jones’ video.
In his emotional video, Jones asks someone offscreen, “Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What’s the point of it?” He then details the bullying he’s suffered at the hands of other children at his school.

“They make fun of my nose,” Jones said in the video. “They call me ugly. They say I have no friends.”
A GoFundMe campaign was launched for Jones and his family, raising close to $60,000 as of December 11.
The defense from Hip Hop and many other celebrities took a twist when Jones’ family was possibly exposed for being racist. A photo collage making the rounds online allegedly features questionable commentary and Confederate flag-flaunting photos from the boy’s mother, Kimberly Jones.
Well, Keaton Jones and his mother, Kimberly Jones, appeared on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday to address the backlash over the Confederate flag photos on her Facebook page.

Kimberly claims the photo was supposed to be funny and she’s truly remorseful about it because she doesn’t want to mess up the donations.
It was meant to be ironic and funny and extreme. SERIOUSLY? I am genuinely and truly sorry. If I could take it back I would.
I they wanna hate me and whatever – that’s fine. But, still talk to your kids…talk to your kids. This is an epidemic.

#PHILADELPHIAEAGLES: Carson Wentz offers positive message on Eagles after ACL injury
One day after his devastating ACL tear, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz wants his fans and teammates to know this isn't the end of the world. It's not even the end of this season.
Wentz, the NFL's leading MVP candidate, left Sunday's pivotal matchup in Los Angeles after a gutsy dive into the end zone. Just like that, an incredible 11-2 run came to an end and Nick Foles took over as signal caller for a team that still has serious Super Bowl aspirations.

In a video message posted to Twitter on Monday night, Wentz acknowledged how tough the news hit him personally. At the same time, he pointed to his religious faith and confidence in the character of the 2017-18 Eagles to keep the team's momentum rolling into the playoffs.

As for Wentz himself, he's determined to rehab and return to the field stronger than ever.

"I can promise to everybody, all my fans in the Philly area, in the North Dakota area, all across this country, that this will not stop me going forward," Wentz said. "I will come back stronger than ever. I will use this as motivation. And I will be attacking it, this whole process as I recover."
