Issa Rae discusses some of the best parts of success, “I’m happy and grateful to be in a position where I can want to see something, and then support the people who are telling stories I want to see.”

#RHoA: Kenya Moore Staying On ‘RHOA’ With Pregnancy Storyline
It seems that Kenya Moore’s big announcement that she is pregnant has saved her job!
After a season of refusing to talk about her shocking secret marriage, the tea is out that she was given a contract for another season of the hit Bravo show with conditions.

During The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, Moore told show host Andy Cohen: “We will definitely be welcoming a boy or a girl in… late this year.”
While producers were skeptical about her claims, the news convinced them to keep her on the show.

“Kenya was offered another contract but not necessarily as a full-time Housewife,” an insider dished. “The producers still don’t really believe that she is pregnant so until filming happens, and the story unfolds, they’re not guaranteeing her anything.”

Moore’s pregnancy was a “last-ditch effort to keep her job,” the source insisted, and it paid off.
As previously reported, the RHOA star also lost a whopping $100,000 during filming, after producers wouldn’t allow her to go on the trip to Barcelona because of her refusal to film with Daly and they docked her another $25,000 when she wouldn’t film with her father in person telling him about the wedding.
“Kenya’s baby news seems like a ploy to stay on the show, so producers are watching her carefully to see what she delivers.”

TEAM TWIRL WINS!!!!!! She’ll be seeing ya next season!

#Empire: Is our Cookie Going to Be Okay?
Red alert, Empire fans. The lethal-tongued matriarch collapsed in the final moments of this week's episode following an emotionally charged confrontation between Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Andre (Trai Byers), and things are not looking good.

It all went down when Andre finally fessed up to orchestrating the car explosion that claimed one of Lucious' legs and nearly killed Cookie in the process. As expected, the news didn't go over well with the rest of the family — especially Lucious. In a fit of rage, he nearly choked his son to death until Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeem (Bryshere "Yazz" Gray) intervened, getting their older brother out of the room before things got worse.

With Lucious reeling from the bombshell revelation, it was up to Cookie to calm him down despite her own difficulty processing the news.
"He confessed, Lucious. It's a start. Maybe he's coming back to his right mind," she told him, attempting to find the silver lining of the heartbreaking reveal.
However, it looks like carrying the weight of the family's neverending emotional conflict finally caught up with her. "My baby, my son...he's not capable...Lucious..." she said before doubling over in pain from an apparent heart attack.

With Cookie down, how will the rest of the Lyons handle the fallout from Andre's devastating confession? Especially since they won't have a mediator on hand to stop them from killing each other. And more importantly, is Cooking going to be okay?

See how it all goes down when Empire continues Wednesdays at 8/7c on Fox.

BREAKING: Harry Anderson, ‘Night Court’ Star, Dies at 65
Harry Anderson, the amiable actor who presided over the NBC comedy “Night Court” for nine seasons, has died at his home in Asheville, N.C., according to a local media report. He was 65.
Anderson was found at his home by police officers early Monday morning, according to a report by WSPA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Spartanburg, N.C. No foul play was suspected, police told the station.

Anderson was a magician-turned-actor who was known as a rabid fan of jazz singer Mel Torme. The affection for Torme was woven into his TV alter ego, Judge Harry Stone, a quirky character who ruled the bench at a Manhattan night court. The sitcom was a mainstay of NBC from 1984 to 1992. Anderson earned three consecutive Emmy nominations for his work on the show from 1985-1987.

Anderson gained national attention after he guest starred as grifter Harry “the Hat” Gittes on NBC’s “Cheers” in the early 1980s. On “Night Court,” Anderson played a goofy but big-hearted judge who encountered a host of oddball characters and cases every week. The series also starred John Larroquette, Richard Moll, Charles Robinson, Marsha Warfield, and Markie Post. Anderson also directed two episodes of the series and wrote or co-wrote five episodes during its long run.
After “Night Court,” Anderson co-starred as columnist Dave Barry in the CBS comedy “Dave’s World,” which ran for four seasons. Anderson moved to New Orleans in 2000 to open the nightclub Oswald’s Speakeasy, where he performed a mix of comedy and magic, and a magic and curio shop dubbed Sideshow.
Anderson logged a guest spot in FX’s “Son of the Beach” in 2002 and a 2008 appearance on NBC’s “30 Rock.” But for the most part, he stayed away from Hollywood. He moved to North Carolina in 2006 after New Orleans was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Born in Rhode Island, Anderson reportedly had a difficult childhood and moved frequently with his mother, who he once described in an interview with Playboy as “a hustler.” He moved to California at the age of 16 to be with his father. He became a street performer and reportedly ran a lucrative shell game on the streets of San Francisco for a time.

Anderson made his way to L.A.’s famed Magic Castle in the early 1980s, where he connected with an agent, according to TCM.com. He made several appearances on “Saturday Night Live” around this time. After “Night Court” made him a star, Anderson hosted “SNL” in 1985.

Anderson’s other credits included guest shots on “Tales From the Crypt” and HBO’s “Tanner ’88,” “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,” and “The John Larroquette Show.” He starred in the 1990 ABC miniseries adaptation of Stephen King’s “It.”

R.I.P Harry!

Nikki Bella and John Cena Break Up After 6 Years Together, End Engagement
After six years together, John Cena and Nikki Bella have called it quits, the couple according to Us Weekly.
“While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the couple tells Us in a statement. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”
Cena, 40, proposed to Bella, 34, one year ago at Wrestlemania 33. The two have been dating since 2012. The pair were last were spotted in public together at Wrestlemania 34 on Sunday, April 8.

On Saturday, April 14, the Blockers star posted an Instagram photo of a quote from Walt Whitman that read, “We were together. I forget the rest.”

Last month, Cena spoke about their relationship, admitting that it takes a lot of work.
“Relationships are hard. Don’t ever think that love is easy. Love is beautiful, but we’ve had to come to the realization after being together for five years that love is not easy,” Cena said. “We work every day on us. We have our problems just like everybody else. Some of our problems are very public, some of them aren’t. But we work every day on us. Anytime I get upset, I always just realize that I can’t live without her and I love her and that’s why I cave in on a lot of stuff.”

He continued: “It takes being able to mesh two lives. I would never ever want Nicole to be in a position where she says, ‘I’m holding you back from doing this because I feel it’s wrong for us.’ And I would never say that to her. That’s why she’s super busy and sometimes we don’t see each other for months at a time, but when we do see each other, it’s our time together. I think, for now at least, that is certainly what’s making this work.”

We wish the best for them as they moved forward with their lives!

Kerry Washington Dishes On Her Post-‘Scandal’ Career Plans
Kerry Washington’s time on “Scandal” is coming to an end this month and the actress is dishing on her next career moves.

“I was doing a play on Broadway when I read the script for “Scandal,” TV’s Oliva Pope explains on “Live with Kelly and Ryan Wednesday, April 11. “I was at dinner with my mother and I was like, ‘You know what? I’m officially back in New York.’ And she was like, ‘Don’t say it. That means you’re gonna get something big over in California.’ And that’s what happened.

“But I’ve been missing theatre,” she adds. “So I think I might come back to do a little theatre.”

Washington debuted on Broadway as Susan in 2009’s “Race” and had done stage work four years earlier as an understudy in the West End production of “Billy Elliot.” With her experience, she’s no stranger to the demands of life under theatre lights.

“After you do a show where you’re doing 16-hour days and memorizing a new monologue every day, you’re like, ‘Yeah I want to say the same words for a few months,'” Washington says mentioning “Scandal.” “Our show is so cool with the live-tweeting, but I miss being in the room. There’s something very communal about theatre and being able to tell the same story.”

If Washington does return to the Broadway stage, she’ll be greeted by plenty of fans in the audience.

“@kerrywashington so are you being serious about coming to Broadway?” one fan tweeted. “Because if so, I will come see you every day ❤❤❤.”

“@kerrywashington theatre is amazing and it’s where nearly all actors began,” someone else said. “But it’s so great because every show is the same but different due to it being live. Would love to see you on stage.”

James Comey Declares Donald Trump Morally Unfit To Be President
Donald Trump is not morally fit to be President of the United States, former FBI Director James Comey told ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos in an interview broadcast tonight. It’s Comey’s first interview since he was sacked by Trump and also the launch of his tour in service of plugging his new book A Higher Loyalty, coming out Tuesday.

In the book, he writes that President Trump is unethical and un-tethered to the truth, prompting Stephanopoulos to ask, “Is Donald trump unfit to be president?”

“Yes, but not in the way I often hear people talk about it,” Comey responded, saying he does not buy this “stuff” about Trump being mentally incompetent or in the early stages of dementia.
“He strikes me as a person of above average intelligence who’s tracking conversations and knows what’s going on.

“I don’t think he is medically unfit to be president – I think he’s morally unfit to be president.”
“A person who sees moral equivalence in Charlottesville, who talks about and treats women like they’re pieces of meat, who lies constantly about matters big and small and insists the American people believe it, that person’s not fit to be president of the United States, on moral grounds. And that’s not a policy statement. I don’t care what your views are on guns, or immigration, or taxes,” Comey said, insisting it’s far more important that “Our president must embody respect and adhere to the values that are at the core of this country. The most important being ‘truth’. This president is not able to do that. He is morally unfit to be president.”

And in what could make White House Chief of Staff John Kelly’s next encounter with Trump interesting, Comey said he talked Kelly out of quitting the Trump administration the day Trump sacked Comey. Comey was in Los Angeles at the time and discovered he’d been fired when he saw it on a television screen.
“John Kelly, then Secretary of Homeland Security, called me and said he was very upset,” Comey recalled. “He said he had seen the news and he intended to resign because he wouldn’t work for people who would treat someone like me in such a dishonorable way.”

Comey begged Kelly, now White House Chief of Staff, not to quit, the former FBI chief told Stephanopoulos.
“I said,  ‘Please don’t do that. This president needs people of character and principle around him – especially this president. We need you to stay and serve the country.’ “

Should Kelly call him today with the same message, however, his response would be quite different, Comey said.
He would now tell Kelly, “I understand. I think you sacrificed as much as you really can of yourself for the country and no one would begrudge you leaving. You have done your absolute best. It’s come at a cost to you, but no one can blame you.”

We are living in a “dangerous time,” Comey wrote in A Higher Loyalty.
“I think it is and chose those words carefully,” Comey told Stephanopoulos.
“If we lose tethering of our leaders to the truth, what are we?”
Interest in tonight’s interview was keen, given how high the bar had been set by ABC News when it aired some of the taped interview’s juicier bits on Friday’s Good Morning America by way of plugging the one-hour special.
– Trump was obsessed with the Pee Tape and told Comey he might want Comey to investigate whether Russia had a recording of an incident he has insisted did not happen, in which he allegedly hired hookers to urinate on the Moscow hotel room bed where President Obama slept.

– Comey wrote that Trump is orange, his hair appears to be his own, and he compared his hand size to Trump’s when they met, determining Trump’s “was smaller than mine, but did not seem unusually so.”
– Comey likened Trump to a mafia boss, demanding loyalty  “like Sammy the Bull’s Cosa Nostra induction ceremony.”
– Comey is “sorry” Hillary Clinton is angry about his decision to holding pressers about the FBI’s probes of her email practices and acknowledged he assumed Clinton would win the election during that period.

WOW!
